IC2R has developed innovative processes at the TRL 5-6 in collaboration with Industries (National and International).

 

Three of them are worth of mention.

  • Conversion of alcohols into linear carbonates, using CO2 or urea
  • One-pot trans-esterification of monounsaturated oils and oxidation of FAMEs
  • Conversion of C6 into 5-HMF and selective oxidation of the latter into DFF, FFCA, HMFCA, FDCA, Succinic Acid and Oxalic Acid
  • Monounsaturated oils aerobic cleavage to mono- and-dicarboxylic cids/esters
  • Synthesis of oligourethanes without phosgene/isocyanates
